Shopping with needessentials EU should be simple and hassle free just like our suits and products. Please take the time to read below.

Returns Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase within the first 14 days, you have the right to return the goods for whatever reason provided they are in perfect sellable condition. It is needessentials right though to wavier the liability for delivery and return shipping charges if you are returning an item that you have simply changed your mind about or does not fit and is not faulty. Included with your returned order should be the needessentials purchase receipt, and if you require a refund or an exchange, Please Re-repackage the item to be returned adequately for shipping.

It is your responsibility to arrange the return carriage of your goods, however, in the event of a faulty or erroneous order we will reimburse the return shipping cost but please contact us first so we can advise.

By ‘perfect sellable condition’ we ask that goods are returned in new condition as they are when they are shipped out and that they are carefully and considerately re-packaged.

Please carefully roll all wetsuits from the legs up as per they were shipped; thus minimizing the risk of creasing and compression points and damaging a wetsuit unnecessarily.

We are certainly unable to accept items if they;

  • are marked, soiled, stretched, bleached or damaged in any way both on the inside or out.
  • have been worn outside and or in water.
  • been returned screwed up in a ball “it happens!!!”.

Please do not use the products in the brine until you are satisfied with the fit and feel and are keeping the item. We also require all original packing. We will not accept wetsuits back if the suit is damaged or marked. We ultimately reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition.

Exchanges And Refunds.

We will notify you via email once your returned item has been processed. If we are able to fulfill your exchange, we will email to confirm this has been actioned. If we are processing a refund we will notify you via email once it has been completed. Please allow 5 working days for the refund to be available again in your bank account and all refunds are made to the account used to make the original purchase.

Warranty and Faulty Goods

IT HAPPENS!

Please understand that faults occur and it is never our intention to cause issue or upset. Be courteous, considerate and truthful to us and we will try to go above and beyond your expectations to rectify the problem with a minimal delay.

With decades of experience we have seen it all (I hope) and with experience not only in the design and manufacture but also in the sea, we can nine times out of ten identify the fault, be it material and manufacture or user. Be fair to needessentials and we will be more than fair to you for it is our reputation and mortgages on the line.

Generally, if a defect is going to become apparent, it will do so relatively quickly. We can’t accept returns due to excessive wear of a product, especially Boots that have walked over many reefs and footpaths but we can and will do all that we can to ensure that genuine faults are dealt with in the best possible way. All items returned as faulty are subject to inspection by needessentials before we can confirm any action. On the odd occasion we will need to send the goods back to the manufacturer for an additional inspection but will keep you informed along the way.

Warranty and Repair for needessentials

(Dependent on the territory in which the product was bought)

European Wetsuits

  • Limited 1-year warranty on Wetsuits and Neoprene Tops (from date of original purchase) against workmanship and materials.

European Accessories

  • Limited 90-day warranty on Neoprene Accessories and boardshorts (from date of original purchase) on workmanship and materials.

If a wetsuit or accessory is felt to be defective under normal use and proper care please return the faulty item to needessentials in the territory in which the goods were purchased. Goods returned should be clean and dry with a cover note clearly identifying the sender and their full contact details, the product and its fault and the action desired. It is imperative that the original purchase receipt is sent with the faulty item. Goods returned without the Receipt will NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

needessentials will repair or replace the product at our discretion and it is needessentials who will decide to replace or repair a product after receipt of the defective item.

NOT Covered Under Warranty

  • Products sold as Sample/Seconds
  • Fading from sunlight
  • Repairs or Alterations not authorized or completed by needessentials
  • Materials over 1 year old or 600 hrs of use (from date of original purchase), or 90 days for accessories
  • Warranty requests without original receipt

General Repair Information

  • 15-20 Business Day Turnaround for warranty items, although we will do our very best to better this estimated turn around.

Repairs will be carried out by needessentials authorized repair center. Repairs carried out with home repair kits or non-authorized repairs will void warranty claims unless prior authorization has been given.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order please notify us asap. If cancelled before your order is collected by our courier service we will issue a full refund upon your instruction. Collection from needessentials is 2pm Monday to Friday, and please note we do not ship or deliver at the weekend or on bank holidays. If you notify us that you wish to cancel your order after it has been collected, we will not refund the original shipping cost on your order and you may also incur an additional return to sender fee.
